Humans are relational beings; and thus, we owe our existence to the ability to cultivate relationships that sustain our mental, physical, emotional and psychological tranquility. In every relationship, there are roles played by each correspondence, and these roles are defined by several factors; age, position, class, family, culture, spirituality, and tradition. This plays out in such a way that it creates dominant and subordinate(dependent) individuals in the relationships. Interestingly, as adults we play both roles of being both dependent and dominant at the same time, across different relationships, and thus there is a diffusion of a learned trait from a relationship circle to another one; and this goes on and on, creating a tangle of relationship traits. I know only how to touch
without hands,
and therein lies the catch:
I’m holding a face I cannot speak to,
tracing a tongue that cannot receive
the gold I grow on my lips
nor taste you in the names I give it. Continue reading Language Lover

Imagine with me for a second a world without sound.
The ocean without the lapping and flapping of the waves,

This morning it felt as though I woke up into twilight.
At some point, twilight became dawn, and dawn was no where to be found.
Birthdays are a blessing.
For they point us towards realizing those ones we adore.
They make us stop in time to appreciate the wonders of being created for a purpose.
For at one moment God said let there be Sandy, and then there was.
Happy birthday to me! I am growing cooler! 😉
And Wow! it’s already been a year! Happy birthday to http://www.apoetsbrain.com as well. To all Apoetsbrain followers, contributors, and supporters, We love you! thanks for joining us on this fun filled journey of growth and purpose.

Arthur’s Introduction to this piece
I have looked at how my world has changed so much and how creative we have become and the extent of magic we can pull up with our creativity from our devices and everything. However, I also felt the need to talk about the downside of all these great things and how people don’t fit. I played the part of the architect generation and how I am happy to see the delusion, the reality and all the glamour of everything and how it seems to all play into my grand plan. As such, I titled it. A THOUSAND MEGAPIXELS. Enjoy. Continue reading A Thousand MegaPixels

One great man was mocked because of his lifelong efforts to bring about peace in his community.
This man worked, strived, suffered and later died for peace.
He will be seen as a peace maker, the reconciler, the forgiver of many many wrongs.
He welcomed generosity, and begged that each man care for his neighbor. Continue reading Birthing Emeralds

I have heard a lot of stories about love
Some amazing and some sad
Earnestly waiting for the day I will start compiling mine

Sometimes, we cannot expect those in our lives to be encouraging of our daily endeavours.
Sometimes, the loudest voices of derogation, or the most demotivating of expressions do not come from without, but from within. Continue reading The Loudest Voices of Discouragement

Beloved, you are being deceived.
You cannot see it. Neither can you tell why.
The one beside you right now, despises you.
The illusion is that they care. But they do not. Continue reading Deception

One day, you’ll get a drink and dive
into its contents by twisting and turning
that which very much makes it protected.
A sip, then a gulp and you’re done with it.

If I could use 100% of my brain’s capacity and not be limited to just about 10%, I would…
I would think of why I am on earth, and actually answer it. Continue reading My Brain @ 100%

There is something shocking about how far this other self of mine can go.
This retarded other entity of mine has no inhibitions or limits whatsoever,
But I do, I have to posses some. The lines are clear everywhere I look.
Yet, here I am, crazy within.
